problem with client

Hello i hawe downloadet the clinent for rf and i play on org. server and now that he is going down on 10th of november i decidet to play on this server so i downloadet just a patc cuz i have a client and when i instal patch and i want to conect server i get an error "client data corruption" client data is corupted or has been modified" what should i do???? download new client?
