well, when i 1st added this server a few days ago i patched then added v3. had to delete AVG becuase avg kept deleting the RFA.exe becuz it sed it was a trojan dropper so i had to re-patch an re-fix over an over. anyways, when v4 came out, i tryed that an my client wouldnt even run since it was telling me i required an administrator to unlock the ability to use the exe, but seeing as theres only the 1 profile on this comp an everything is available, it caused me to re-roll back to v3+fix.

now i tried using v4.1 an it tells me "error: please restart RFA client" as soon as the venom guard sumthing or other dissapears it closes so i once again went back to v3+fix.

heres my question: whats the problem here? since its apparently gunna be required to use v4.1 soon, id like to be able to keep playing here an not be forced to leave since of this small incident....anyways, any ideas are welcome espeicaly if they help fix my problem T_T

edit: just noticed some 1 added somthing similar earlier, sept it was in the wrong section (I.E: patch 4.1 problem)

I think I found the solution ^^
first open the Launcher, then get the mause pointer from the top of the screen login and password, and not click, wait a bit and ready, the launcher will not close.
it worked with me

This patch was tested by all RFA staff members for weeks before it got OK from everyone to release and NO ONE reported this error to me. You probably tried to close anti hack program.

since the answer of "ur trying to close the anti-hack" was used on several topics, an doesnt really tell me how to fix the problem, i just uninstalled everything that had anything to do w/ RF an re-installed it, patched, an went directly to v4.1 an that fixed it for me.

morale of this story, or fix for this problem: un-install everything pertaining to RFA/RF an reinstall > repatch > update straight to v4.1,an nuthing inbetween then restart ur comp.
