rf client not working!

PLEASE HELP ME! I FOLLOWED EVERYTHING, DOWNLOADED THE CLIENT AND PATCHES FROM 2.8 - 4.1 THEN INSTALLED THE CLIENT THEN LET IT UPDATE UP TO 200, THEN INSTALLED ALL THE PATCHES AND THEN APPLIED THE QUICK FIX THAT THE GUIDE PROVIDED, THEN WHEN I LOGIN THE 1ST SCREEN I GET IS "wrong file installed, please reinstall hack shield program" but i just followed your instructions from the starter guide >.<, i tried clicking the update button on the hackshield folder but still wont work, please help me, this client was working before i had an OS reinstall, it was working fine with vista now in XP sp2 it doesnt work, i redownloaded everything before installing it again, so you dont need to tell me to re download it again T_T, please help me =D http://img296.imageshack.us/my.php?image=tetgx0.png this is the link for the screenshot of the error

i think u did not download the client....i had that problem before...

if u put the patch into the other rf client or folder it show the picture that u posted....

Install once again the client, run it and let uptade 200/200, then install 4.0 patch aplly qickfix, then install 4.1 patch. And while instaling 4.0 and 4.1 patch remember to disable your antivir program, if you are using AVG antivir as me, you will need to add RF folder to exceptions list to allow RF to go, after all if you have firewall alow to run aplications that starts when you run the client cose it is part of hack shield. Working for me hope it will help you. Waiting to see you in the game

Reinstall 2.1.6 client > update it to 200/200 > install patch v4.1

what if loading already and waiting to my character to appear but it close the window automatic.... antivirus and firewall are off.. any idea in this matter?
this is happened when my bf installed new update bitdefender 2009 in my computer.. the next step im going to do is reinstall everything.. but maybe you have other option rather to reinstall client +patch..

i just told you sir, i just had an operating system reinstall that's why i downloaded everything from the client to the patches, >.<, and i dont have any antivirus program running because this is the 1st thing i am installing after the drivers, and i dont use antiviruses, i always disable firewall and automatic updates, what more can i do? and please dont force me to download the client because, I JUST HAD AND OPERATING SYSTEM REINSTALL AND EVERYTHING IS NEWLY DOWNLOADED, ive tried reinstalling then installing 4.1 only but no go, tried reinstalling and 4.0 only, no go, tried 2.8 only no go, tried 3.0 only no go, tried a combination of patches, no go, and all of them i updated the patch up to 200, i told you i am following the starters guide, so giving me the instructions from the starters guide will not work >.<, any tech there that can help me???

hey i already solved my problem by re-intall my client and update it to 200/200 then add patch 4.1 only then work fine..
make sure you update your client to 200/200 before adding the patch 4.1.. repeat this procedure and it will work promise.. ^_^
after this dont forget to add you rf folder / rf exe. to your antivirus exception list.
